The program picture

Music supervisors and principals have always needed a clean answer: how many kids are in the program, with which teachers, on which instruments. Teachers cannot easily hand that over.

On the school dashboard you can see student and teacher counts, the violin, viola, cello, and bass mix, and how far each class has gotten (completion and scores). Open any class grades from there.

One school at a time. If you oversee more than one, switch schools. A single district rollup is not shipped yet.

Literacy off the rehearsal clock

NoteFest takes the tedious literacy work - reading, counting, listening, what music is, how long a note lasts - so teachers can do what they are best at: making music together, building better humans, making better connections. Rehearsal is not "what note do I play?"

Software does not replace your teachers. It clears the work that was stealing class time.

Teacher-first is an admin win

Your teachers get a platform that syncs classes, assigns work, and shows who finished. They stay on rehearsal and students, not busywork. That is the product, not a side feature.

Language and access

English and Spanish now, with text-to-speech, so students who are new to English (or still learning to read) can still do the work. More languages are coming.

Year 1 mixed strings in one program

One assignment covers violin, viola, cello, and bass. Students receive the correct book for the instrument they play. Year 1 teaches literacy on all the strings so students can read the notes in front of them, instead of giving up.

Google Classroom sync keeps rosters current. Completion and scores live in NoteFest. Linked classes can get the assignment in Classroom.

Privacy before any paid school

We complete FERPA and COPPA paperwork with you before we invoice or turn on student accounts. That is a signed school packet, not a certification badge.

Google Workspace

Staff and students sign in with school Google accounts. Teachers connect Google Classroom and import their own rosters. We do not need student passwords.

What we need from your admin or tech

• The school's Google Workspace domain, and a student domain if it is different.
• Allow NoteFest as a third-party app in Google Admin so staff and students can sign in.
• If Google asks to verify the app, allow it for your domain.
• Teachers already using Google Classroom for their sections.
• One tech or admin contact. Teachers pick which classes to import.
